MapleStory

MapleStory is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Play Game) created in May 2003 by Nexon and programmed by Wizet. The game features two-dimensional graphics and characters drawn in super deformed style. Unlike most MMORPGs today, Maple Story has a battle system, in which the player controls the movements of the characters on the keyboard.

Plot

According to the synopsis introduced the Big Bang, a hundred years ago, the world of MapleStory (Maple World) began to be attacked by a powerful wizard, which called itself Black Mage - Black Mage in Portuguese. Aran, Mercedes and Phantom (remembering that the last of the five heroes not been revealed yet) were frozen in ice, losing his memories and skills - reducing the levels of all the Level 1. In current times, the descendants of the original Black Wings secretly crept through the outskirts of the continent Edelstein - where the Black Mage was born - looking for a way to resurrect his former master. When they finally find a way, the Pirates - Adventures belonging to the new class - come on Victory Island, revealing itself as a new class and warns islanders that evil Black Mage would be returning soon. The news traveled around the Maple World, and reached the kingdom of Ereve where Empress Cygnus decided to create a special group among the knights of the realm official: the Cygnus Knights, Knights inspired by the classes Warrior, Thief, Magician, and Archer exploiters. Each has a special ability, the main hallmark the ability to invoke the spirit of their legendary respective professions to help them temporarily in a battle. While the Big Bang began in the world of MapleStory, another crisis began in Victoria Island. More and more thieves disappeared from the streets of Kerning, causing the Dark Lord - leader of Thieves - began to get worried. What he did not know, is that the shadows and alleys of the big city was born a new class: the Dual Blades. They are a group of thieves who use two kataras ninjas, a special type of dagger. The class is led by Lady Syl, daughter of the former Dark Lord. The young man tried to convince Sylvia that she was wondering what was a lie, but to no avail. The last time we saw Sylvia swore revenge on his former best friend (and worst enemy now), and so she began looking for the most talented beginners thieves trained by Dark Lord (English name of the Dark Lord) so to get revenge against those who killed his father.
Despite the problems that the Maple World would face because of the Black Magician, a new hope emerged from the depths of an ice cave in Rien. There was hiding the huge block of ice that held Aran, the mighty warrior who was cursed to become stuck in the snow by Black Mage. But this block began to melt slowly, despite the cold weather of Rien. Until nowadays, the block finally melts. Aran then suddenly wake up, but with no memory of who she was and how she got there. He just remember basic things a human being - how to talk. To the surprise of Aran, in her moment of awakening, a girl watched.

Gameplay

Designed in two-dimensional graphics atypical of the current generation, MapleStory is faithful to the rescue style platform, initiated by games such as Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Among others, a style which practically ended with the arrival of the 7th Generation of Video-Games and creation Nintendo 64. NPC

There are also some NPCs that has the functions of characters to teach beginners how to play (which usually appear only at the beginning of the game) and the heads of professions, players who advance to the working classes (as the Dark Lord for Thiefs, or Lady Syl for Dual Blades).
Abilities

The techniques are skills that can be learned by your character. When starting the game, you have three basic skills, and can access them with the K key on your keyboard ABNT2 common (standard keyboard). Whenever you evolve a level your character gains a certain amount of skill points - or SP - to distribute between the skills possessed by him. Strength (STR): It is the main attribute of Pirates-Warriors and Brawlers, and the secondary attribute of an Archer. Each class of each variation evolve in their careers.
